Catherine McIntosh Jeffery
My recent oil paintings are a meditation on the fragile beauty of the natural world and the majesty of life. The landscapes are based on personal places that I visit for solitude and contemplation. It is my hope that the sense of reverence I experience will infuse these paintings and resonate with viewers.
Molly Moldovan
Rooted in abstraction, mycolourful paintings evoke a sense of time and place without overt narrative. My recent work has explored such diverse themes as democracy, the aids pandemic, cross-border politics, familial relationships and the abstract nature of our universe.
Judith Myers
My abstract paintings are informed and shaped by the years I spent working and exhibiting in Europe. Spirituality, a connection to nature, and socio - political comment are important elements in my work.
Josef Roschar (1943-2005)
Joseph Roschar is renowned for the bold size and beauty of his ceramic and raku-fired vessels and sculpture. In a career that spanned 35 years, Josef exhibited widely throughout North America, Europe and Japan. He loved to travel, and lived and set up working studios in Amsterdam, Toronto, Gordes (France), and finally, at Stoney Lake, Ontario.
